ABOUT
What is the Dundee Wargames Club?
The Dundee Wargames Club aims to provide players with a fun and inclusive environment where they can socialise and enjoy their hobby by arranging and playing games as well as taking part in other hobby related activities.
The Club is run by fellow gaming enthusiasts who volunteer their time to provide you with the space to play your favourite games on our fully kitted out tables. In addition, we have recently expanded our range of services by creating the Dundee Roleplaying Club and the Dundee Board Games Club to cater towards other aspects of the hobby and to create a bigger and wider community.
The Club was founded by Davide Muirhead in 2012 under the original name: The Elysium Wargames Society. The Dundee Wargames Club took over Club operations in 2014 and now boasts a regular attendance of over 40 players at our weekly sessions.

Is there an age limit?
The current age limit is set at 16+ to coincide with our recent partnership with the Dundee Library Wargames Club. Players under the age of 16 should get in touch with the Dundee Library Wargames Club by visiting their Group Page or by speaking to David Michie the Club representative.
Memberships and Funds
The Dundee Wargames Club offers a range of Membership options to our players with a list of benefits available for each.
All funds generated by Memberships and entry fees will be used to buy new supplies for the club including new tables and scenery.

Gold Members – Free
Silver Members - £1.00
Non-Members - £2.50

THE COMMITTEE
Mathew Coll
Chairman
Matt has been with the DWC since the early days and has well over 20 years experience in the hobby.
James Burn
Vice Chairman
James is the newest member of the committee but has been heavily involved in running the club since it's beginning.
Steven Young
Administrator
Steven has been involved with the Club since its first days in Cerberus and was the Club's second Chairman.
THE VENUE
The Friary

The Dundee Wargames Club and its branch Clubs operate from the Friary on Tullideph Road, Dundee every Wednesday Night from 19:00 to 22:00. This venue is paid for using funds generated from memberships and from sales made at the club’s own tuck shop.

The space we have available to us comes in the shape of massive Auditorium which will also be used for large tournaments once we’ve established ourselves in our new home.
Venue Facilities
Toilet facilities are located on the premises and within close proximity to the hall.

There is free parking within the Friary car park or alternatively on the street.
​
The main entrance is located in the car park with separate disabled access available around the side.

Tuck Shop
​
Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available.
